In bad news for Kerala Blasters their defender Aiban Dohling will miss the remainder of the Indian Super League – Season 10 due to a serious knee injury.
Aiban Dohling had only signed for the Blasters from FC Goa ahead of ISL-10, now they will have to rethink their defensive unit without Aiban Dohling.
27 year old Meghalaya-born Aiban Dohling is a youth product of Shillong Lajong FC having spend time in his youth with the Tata Football Academy.
Aiban Dohling had made his senior debut with childhood club Shillong Lajong FC before moving to FC Goa in 2019.
Kerala Blasters in a statement said, “Our defender, Aiban Dohling, suffered an injury during our game against Mumbai City FC last Sunday. The injury is expected to keep him out for the rest of the season. The entire Club stands by Aiban during this difficult time and we eagerly await his return to the pitch.”

Meanwhile Aiban Dohling via an Instagram post said, “Absolutely devastated to have picked up this injury at such a crucial time in the season. Gutted I won’t be able to play any further part now in Indian Super League for my team Kerala Blasters But now it’s all about supporting the boys and getting behind them. I’m going to give everything I have to make sure I come back stronger than before.”
