Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters FC have announced the signing of experienced French defender Cyril Kali for the 2018/19 season.
34 year old Besançon-born Cyril Kali played in his youth years for AJ Auxerre and OSC Lille, while making his professional debut for Norwegian side Lilleström SK.
Since 2007, he has played professional football only in Greece for PS Kalamata (2007), Asteras Tripolis (2007/08), Panserraikos (2008-10), Veria (2010/11, 2012/13, 2014-17), AEL (2011), Panetolikos (2013/14), and Apollon Pontou (2017/18).
Cyril Kali, who has never played professional football in his native France, comes to the Kerala Blasters as a centre-back who could partner India international Sandesh Jhingan at the heart of defence.
