Kerala Blasters & NorthEast United FC looking for first ISL-8 points!

The Men in Yellow will be locking horns with the highlanders tomorrow in search of the first victory in the 8th edition of ISL. In the inaugural match, Kerala Blasters had a downfall against ATK Mohun Bagan with a scoreline of 4-2 in favor of the hosts at the Fartoda Stadium. Sahal and Diaz found the net and opened their account for Kerala Blasters this season.

Meanwhile Khalid Jamil’s NorthEast United FC suffered a similar 2-4 loss to Bengaluru FC and they would also be keen for a win.

Rahul KP was subbed off owing to an injury in the last game against ATK Mohun Bagan and he will be out of action. Initial observations suggest a partial tear of the groin muscle injury.

The team is prepared to find their rhythm against NorthEast United FC. Moreover, the coach and the whole team are confident about the game. This is the exact time to rectify the mistakes from the previous game.

The previous meeting between these two teams was on November 26 at the GMC Stadium in Goa when they played out a 2–2 tie. Overall in the Indian Super League, Kerala Blasters oversee the fixture with five victories.
