Kiyan Nassiri extends ATK Mohun Bagan contract until 2024!

Indian Super League side ATK Mohun Bagan have announced the contract extension of young striker Kiyan Nassiri by two years until summer 2024.

The 21 year old Kolkata-born Kiyan Nassiri Giri in his youth played for Mohun Bagan AC, Calcutta FC, and Mohammedan Sporting Club.

As the son of former Maidan legend Jamshed Nassiri, Kiyan was always interested in football with his father being one of his first coaches to train him.

In 2019 the promising youngster had returned to Mohun Bagan AC to play for their U-19 side in the U-19 Zee Bangla League before earning a trial with the senior team. Kiyan was part of the 2019/20 I-League winning Mohun Bagan AC squad and then signed for ATK Mohun Bagan.

In the just finished ISL-8, Kiyan Nassiri became a Mariners hero, when he scored a hattrick in a 3-1 win against archrivals SC East Bengal and then got more playing time in the squad of head coach Juan Ferrando.

Now he extends his contract with the Mariners with both sides hoping that the young striker develops further and becomes a first team regular.
