FC Augsburg have secured the services of Kristijan Jakić from Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent basis after triggering an option to buy in the Croatian midfielder’s contract. The 27-year-old, who made 14 appearances for FCA in the second half of the season, scoring two goals and registering an assists, has signed a long-term contract with FC Augsburg that is valid until June 30, 2028.
“I’m glad that FCA have signed me on a permanent basis and that I’ll be able to stay in Augsburg beyond the end of this season. My expectations and hopes following my move in winter have been met. We’ve improved a lot as a team and I played my part in that. I’m convinced that this isn’t all we have to offer – we can still improve. That’s why I’m happy that I’m going to be an FCA player for the foreseeable future,” stated Kristijan Jakić.

Kristijan quickly slotted into the side following his move and proved to be a good fit for the team in terms of his personality and playstyle.
