Daniele Rugani renews with Juventus FC until 2026!

Daniele Rugani has extended his contract with Juventus FC for two more years, officially signing on until June 30, 2026.

Rugani has been Bianconero since 2012, when – at just 18 years old – he first walked through the gates of Vinovo to begin his adventure in black and white, with the Primavera team.

Since that summer twelve years ago, ‘Ruga’ has enjoyed steady progress, maturing both as a man and as a player, season after season, also thanks to his experiences on loan at FC Empoli and Cagliari Calcio in Italy and with Stade Rennes in France. These were valuable step in his growth path that allowed him to earn everyone’s trust, and the numbers he’s produced confirm it.

From the beginning of last season (2022/23) Juventus has won 62% of the matches in which Daniele has played as a starter across all competitions (13/21).

Since his first season (2015/16) with the first team, Rugani is one of only three Juventus FC defenders, behind Leonardo Bonucci (24) and Alex Sandro (15), to have reached double digits in goals among all competitions: 11, with three coming this season between the Coppa Italia (1) and league (2). We still have in mind his decisive goal against Frosinone, in the dying moments of that game.

He’s scored important goals, but above all else, he’s a guarantee of safety at the back, especially in his aerial game.

Suffice it to say that, again since his first season in Bianconero, the 29-year-old has been one of the four Juventus FC players who has made at least 200 defensive headers in Serie A: exactly 200 from him, behind only Giorgio Chiellini (273), Leonardo Bonucci (259) and Alex Sandro (244).

His path in Bianconero is made up of many victories, with the most recent coming in the Coppa Italia final on May 15.
