The National Men’s Team of Kuwait will be competing in the 14th edition of the SAFF Championship to be held in Bengaluru, India, from June 21 to July 4.
The Football Association of Kuwait confirmed its participation to SAFF on Wednesday, May 3.
With Kuwait’s participation, seven teams have been confirmed for SAFF Championship so far. SAFF is in correspondence with several other nations to increase the number of participants to eight teams.
The SAFF Executive Meeting held on March 31, 2023 had decided to invite one or two teams from outside the SAFF region with a view to increase the number of teams for the championship and make the event more competitive.
