LaLiga president Javier Tebas to discuss threats & opportunities for football at Soccerex Global Convention!

Javier Tebas, President of the Spanish LaLiga will attend the Soccerex Global Convention 2017 in Manchester from September 4-6 where he will take part as a speaker to discuss the latest challenges faced by LaLiga and the global plans of the iconic competition.

In a session titled ‘Threats and opportunities for football’, Mr Tebas will discuss, among other topics, the challenges regarding financial doping of teams, a topic that made headlines this summer with the move of Brazilian football star Neymar to Paris Saint Germain from FC Barcelona for £198m (€220m).

LaLiga clubs commit to the Soccerex Global Convention 2017

LaLiga will be sponsoring the ‘LaLiga Lounge’, the most exclusive VIP networking area at the Soccerex Global Convention as well as taking part in multiple conference sessions.

The following LaLiga club representatives will be taking part as speakers:
– Russell Stepford, Director of Digital, and Javier Sobrino, Strategic Planning & Innovation Director, FC Barcelona, to present ‘The Barça Innovation Hub’
– Ramón Loarte, Chief Marketing Officer, Sevilla FC, joining the panel titled ‘Maximising your Club’s Brands Values’
– María Ruiz de Oña, Head of Coaching, Athletic de Bilbao, joining the panel titled ‘Youth Football Development: Trainers vs Coaches’
– Pablo Ortiz, Sales Director, Deportivo Alaves, joining the panel titled ‘The relationship between football and eSports’
– Gema Baqué, Sales and Marketing Director, SD Eibar, joining the panel titled ‘Club International Development Strategies’
