Leeds United relieve head coach Jesse Marsch of his duties!

Leeds United have announced that their head coach Jesse Marsch has been relieved of his duties.

Jesse Marsch joined the club in February 2022 and was instrumental in keeping the club in the Premier League on the final day of the last 2022/23 season.

Rene Maric, Cameron Toshack and Pierre Barrieu will also leave the club.

Leeds United are in the process of appointing a new head coach is underway.

Meanwhile Leeds United have confirmed Michael Skubala, Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas will take training at Thorp Arch on Tuesday and will be in the dugout for Wednesday’s Premier League fixture against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Skubala, who previously held a number of roles at the FA, was appointed as the club’s Under-21 head coach last summer.

Development coach Gallardo enjoyed a successful playing career in Spain and served as an assistant at LaLiga side Sevilla, prior to joining the Whites.

Former MLS midfielder Armas joined the backroom staff at Leeds United in January following spells at New York Red Bulls, Toronto FC and Manchester United.

Skubala will also be taking on the club’s media duties, starting with Tuesday’s pre-match press conference.
