London Football Awards 2023 announce Roman Kemp & Alex Brooker as co-hosts!

The London Football Awards, sponsored by Toscafund, has officially announced Roman Kemp and Alex Brooker as co-hosts for the 2023 awards ceremony, with the duo set to welcome over 450 guests to the iconic Roundhouse venue on Monday, March 13.

The London Football Awards, now in its ninth year, celebrates the achievements of players, clubs and initiatives taking place in London from across the year. The nominees, and eventual winners, have been selected by a 26-person panel of judges made up of ex-players, broadcasters and professionals from across the footballing pyramid.

Television and radio presenter Roman Kemp is one of the country’s most promising broadcasters. He is a regular presenter on BBC’s The One Show and has hosted Capital FM’s breakfast show for over 5 years, interviewing some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

Commenting on the announcement, Roman Kemp said, “As a football fanatic, it’s a huge privilege to host this year’s London Football Awards and I can’t wait to welcome so many amazing people from the capital’s thriving football scene to the legendary Roundhouse next month.”

Alex Brooker is a journalist and presenter best known for his television work with Channel 4. Since 2012, Brooker has co-hosted the hugely successful panel show The Last Leg, alongside Adam Hills and Josh Widdicombe.

Alex Brooker said, “I’m honoured to be a part of this year’s awards celebrating so many people key to the game we all love.”

This exciting announcement follows the unveiling of the 2023 awards nominees, with Alex and Roman’s beloved Arsenal dominating the awards with an incredible ten nominations across all categories.

The London Football Awards is sponsored by Toscafund, who also sponsor the Premier League Player of The Year category, and includes awards sponsored by: London Evening Standard (Community Project of the Year), Jump (EFL Player of the Year), Paul White (Manager of the Year), Multiplex (Goalkeeper of the Year), Weston Homes (Outstanding Contribution to London Football) and Gung Ho Communications (the FA Women’s Super League Player of the Year).

The 2023 London Football Awards will be held at the Roundhouse on Monday, March 13.
