SC Freiburg striker Lucas Höler has signed a contract extension with the Bundesliga club.
Lucas Höler joined SC Freiburg from SV Sandhausen in 2018 and has since played 174 times for the club in all competitions, scoring 27 goals and setting up 19. The 28-year-old is Freiburg’s joint top Bundesliga goalscorer together with Vincenzo Grifo in 2023 (Three goals each).
“Lucas has been with us now for over five years and has developed really well,” said sporting director Jochen Saier. “Lucas is an important player in our squad due to his excellent attitude, presence and hard work on and off the pitch. We’re delighted that he’s staying at the club.”
Höler commented: “I feel like I’ve developed more with every year here at SC, as have the team. I will continue to give my best to try and help us be successful.”
As always at SC Freiburg, all contract details will remain undisclosed.
