Dundee FC, which last month clinched their well-deserved promotion to the Scottish Premiership, presented the new ‘Away’ kit for the 2021/22 season made by Macron, technical sponsor of the Scottish club.
The away jersey of ‘The Dee’ is neon sky blue with a white polo neck decorated by dark and neon sky blue stripes. The same colour detail appears on the sleeve edges. The shirt is characterized by particular interweaving graphics, tone on tone and sublimation print. The cultural reference to the city’s heritage, in the form of the contemporary jute weave, is retained in the away jersey – a theme carried through from the home shirt, tying the two together.
The Macron Hero is on the right side of the chest, while the Dundee FC logo appears over the heart on the left. The design of the Scottish national flag is embossed in the back neck with tone-on-tone graphics.
