L’Association de la Jeunesse Auxerroise, better known as AJ Auxerre, and Macron have unveiled the new Third shirt that the team will wear in the 2019/20 season and announced the renewal of the sponsorship until 2025.
The shirt is completely black with a white polo collar and rib knit sleeve ends. The backneck label is personalised with the design present on the Home and Away kit as well as the club crest and the phrase A JAMAIS NOUS SERONS, FIERS D’ETRE AUXERROIS.The striking characteristic of the shirt is the white Maltese cross used as the crest of the club and the foundation year, 1905, which is embossed under the crest.
The new kit has been designed through a process of collaboration between the club and the design team of the Italian sports brand. Both have worked to ensure that the colours, symbols and history of the club are represented in the kits while also ensuring the technical performance quality that Macron is renowned for.
