Serbian top club Red Star Belgrade and Macron, the Hero company, have presented the new ‘Home’ jersey that Dejan Stankovic’s team will wear during the 2021/22 season, already started in Serbia with the Superliga.
The new ‘Home’, traditionally red and white, is inspired by the 1997-98 Red Star jersey that present coach Stankovic wore as player and captain of the Serbian club. The shirt has a white polo collar and is characterized by two large vertical red bands ‘broken’ in the middle and a navy blue band on the sleeves. The backneck is personalized by a red label with the club crest and the team name writing: ФК ЦРВЕНА ЗВЕЗДА.
The three stars of the Red Star Belgrade coat of arms are embroidered in gold on the back of the collar to represent the club’s national titles. This year Crvena Zvezda won its 32nd title of Champion of Serbia (fourth in a row) with a record score of 108 points.
The Macron Hero is embroidered in white on the right chest, while the club’s crest is on the left side. Red shorts complete the kit with white drawstrings and white side stripes. The socks are red with a white upper border and a thin horizontal line in navy blue. The fit is Slim Fit, the main fabric is Softlock, and the presence of micromesh inserts ensures the garment is lightweight and breathable.
