After an incredible year ended with the conquest of the second place in the national Portuguese championship, Macron and Sporting Clube de Portugal have presented the new official jerseys that will be worn by the club during the 2016/17 season.
Also for the next season, the Style department of Macron has based the stylistic realization of the new jerseys, in accordance with the Portuguese club executives, on the important historic tradition of Sporting, creating a series of items able to better express this concept, without distorting the classical spirit of the club. Playing on simplicity and attention to the colors, and transforming the classic style into a modern one, the new jerseys show, at the same time, a sober and fashion style.
Home jersey presents traditional white-green colors in horizontal stripes and it is embellished by important technical features, as mesh inserts and laser-cut on the high sides of the new jersey, which adopts a slim fit, so as to ensure a better comfort to the players. The elegance, expressed by some details, such as the black polo collar and knitted cuffs, is the main
characteristic of the Home jersey, which also stands out for the meticulous attention to details, such as the initials of the club – SCP – embroidered on the back of the collar. Sporting logo is stitched on the chest at heart level.
Total black and slim fit are characteristics of the new Away jersey, which is made even more attractive by a series of green fluo details, such as the contrasting “piping”, present inside the knitted V-neck collar, the sleeve cuffs and the club logo embroidered on the chest at heart level. A very important particular is the lion, present on left side of the shirt, realized tone-on-tone with sublimation printing. Away jersey presents the green-fluo-colored initials of the club embroidered on the back of the collar.
