I-League champions Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the return of midfielder Arjun Jayaraj ahead of the 2022/23 season.
26 year old Malappuram-born Arjun Jayaraj played in his youth for the MSP sports hostel and then college football for Calicut University. There in a friendly against Gokulam Kerala FC he impressed coach Bino George, who signed him from there.
Arjun Jayaraj made an immediate impact and had two successful seasons with Gokulam Kerala FC. He moved to the Kerala Blasters ahead of the 2019/20 season but a ligament injury during pre-season training kept him out for over a season.
He then joined Kerala United to play for them in the Kerala Premier League and the I-League qualifiers.
Now Arjun Jayaraj returns to Gokulam Kerala FC and will hope to make an impact in the I-League.
