Miguel Moreira joins Hannes Wolf as assistant at Bayer Leverkusen!

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have brought in another assistant coach to join the staff of the new head coach Hannes Wolf.

Miguel Moreira joins Bayer 04 with immediate effect from the Borussia Dortmund Under-17s. The 37-year-old has already been Wolf’s assistant at VfB Stuttgart and KRC Genk in Belgium. Experienced Peter Hermann was introduced as assistant coach along with Wolf on Tuesday itself.

“Miguel Moreira has worked very closely and successfully with Hannes Wolf in the past and he brings his football expertise with him,” said Bayer 04 sporting director Simon Rolfes. “Beyond that, Miguel speaks German as well as fluent Portuguese, Spanish, French and English – a big plus in the multicultural world of professional football. We are certain Miguel will make a great contribution to the successful conclusion of the current Bundesliga season.”
