Minerva Punjab FC renamed as Punjab FC!

All teams of Minerva Punjab Football Club (MPFC), the sole representatives of Punjab and former champions of the I-League, the top division league of football in India, and defending champions of Junior League and Elite League, shall now be known as Punjab Football Club (PFC) as per the agreement with RoundGlass Sports Private Ltd.

RoundGlass Sports has expanded their youth and grassroots football talent program by including the players of Minerva Punjab Football Club’s Champion Under-11 to Under-18 teams. The players are already training under the UEFA/AFC/AIFF certified coaches at RoundGlass Sports. International medical, nutritional, educational and lifestyle facilities are being provided to all the player to help them develop their skills.

Gurpreet (Sunny) Singh, CEO RoundGlass said, “The talented youngsters of Minerva Punjab Football Club are being inducted into our world-class football academy. I am happy with the talent that we have in this year’s squad after combining youth players from RoundGlass Sports and Minerva Punjab Football Club, with additional influx of players through our scouting program from different parts of India; now they are all training under the world class technical staff of RoundGlass Sports. In keeping with our vision, our aim is to ensure that we offer the young talent a genuine opportunity to reach their full potential.”
