Mizoram Football Association (MFA) has congratulated Lalnghinglova Hmar and Jeje Lalpekhlua on their election to the Mizoram Legislative Assembly.
MTetea Hmar, the Honorary Secretary of the State Football Association and a Committee Member of the All India Football Federation, was elected from Aizawl West II Constituency in the recent state assembly election. He is now in charge of Sports and Youth Services, as well as Labour, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department (LESDE), and Excise and Narcotics Department.
Jeje Lalpekhlua, the former footballer and an ex-India International was also elected from South Tuipui Constituency.
The new Sports Minister, Tetea Hmar expresses gratitude to his colleagues in the Association for their unwavering support and promises that, despite his election to the Assembly, he will not leave the playground and will work tirelessly for every sports discipline in the state.
Jeje Lalpekhlua also commended the MFA for his accomplishment on the pitch, which propelled him to this level in his political career.
Lal Thanzara, President of the MFA, conveys his heartfelt congratulations, noting that the Lord has done wonderful things.
