Competition details are now set for the 2023 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G that will see 10 MLS stars take on 10 Arsenal FC stars in a test of soccer skills on the night before the 2023 MLS All-Star Game.
Live at Audi Field on Tuesday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET, the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge will treat fans to five head-to-head contests between MLS and Arsenal that require ball control, accuracy, strategy, and teamwork.
The 2023 edition includes the following challenges:
- Shooting Challenge presented by AT&T 5G: Players must shoot quickly and accurately to earn points. Teams have 60 seconds to hit 12 targets in the goal with varying value based on difficulty.
- Touch Challenge presented by Dawn: Ball control will be tested as players are challenged to control and redirect aerial passes into one of four targets.
- Cross & Volley Challenge presented by AT&T 5G: Creativity and style are key as competitors try to score on the opposing team’s goalkeeper strictly off volleyed shots.
- Passing Challenge presented by Bounty: With speed and accuracy, players earn points by placing passes directly into targets spread across the field.
- Crossbar Challenge presented by GilletteLabs: A training-ground favorite, players attempt to hit the crossbar from two zones – at the 18-yard box and then 40 yards from goal.

The MLS NEXT Pro goalkeepers competing in the 2023 edition of Goalie Wars will be: Damian Las (Austin FC II), Ben Martino (Huntsville City FC), Xavier Valdez (Houston Dynamo 2) and Isaac Walker (Crown Legacy FC).
