Kolkata side Mohammedan Sporting Club were held to a 1-1 draw by DFA Varanasi in their second fixture of the All India Mau Nagarpalika Gold Cup on Wednesday at the Faizabad Sports Complex in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
After a barren first half, Mohammedan Sporting surged ahead in the 59th minute through a Manvir Singh goal, however Suraj Kumar restored parity for the local outfit in the 78th minute to surprisingly split points between the two sides.
