In the midst of the festive season in Bengal, Mohammedan Sporting Club are all set to resume their Kolkata Zonal Round campaign of the AIFF Under-16 Youth League 2016/17 against SAI – Kolkata on Sunday, October 16 at the Mohammedan Sporting ground.
Mohammedan Sporting colts started their campaign with a 1-3 loss to United SC. However the Murari Kar-coached side bounced back with a 2-0 win over Southern Samity. SAI, on the other hand, suffered a 1-2 losse against East Bengal and then a loss to Mohun Bagan respectively in their first two matches.
For the record, the last two meetings of these two teams ended in a goalless and 2-2 draw respectively in last season.
The match at Mohammedan Sporting ground kicks off at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
