Mohammedan Sporting quintet join Mohun Bagan ahead of I-League!

After the end of the Calcutta Premier League – Premier Division ‘A’ a quintet of players from Mohammedan Sporting Club has joined Kolkata rivals Mohun Bagan AC to be a part of their I-League squad.

Before the start of the CFL, the Mariners had signed a deal with Cameroonian striker Aser Pierrick Dipanda Dicka and last seasons I-League top scorer also top scored for the Black Panthers in the CFL. Dipanda Dicka will be replacing Ivory Coast striker Kamo Stephane Bayi, whom Mohun Bagan had only signed for the Calcutta Football League.

Further Mohun Bagan have signed talented local quartet in goalkeeper Sankar Roy, defender Rana Gharami besides wingers Sheikh Faiaz and Dipendu Dowary.

For Rana Gharami and Dipendu Dowary it marks a return to the Mariners, who along with the others joined Mohun Bagan training yesterday ahead of the I-League which kicks-off next month.
