Kolkata giants Mohammedan Sporting Club scored a 2-0 win over Railway FC in the 2021 Calcutta Football League – Premier Division A at the Kalyani Municipal Stadium on Thursday.
After controlling most of the first session, Mohammedan Sporting scored in first half added time when Sheikh Faiaz scored of a Faizal pass to give the Black Panthers a 1-0 half-time lead.
Mohammedan Sporting kept the pressure up at the start of the second session and they had to wait until the 61st minute for Azharuddin Mallick to double the lead.
It stayed that way until the end for Mohammedan Sporting to win the game 2-0 with Sheikh Faiaz named Man of the match and Firoz Ali as Emerging Player.
