Mohammedan Sporting upbeat ahead of Independence Cup in Nagaon, Assam!

Kolkata giants Mohammedan Sporting Club has reached Nagaon, Assam to play the 70th All India Independence Cup on Friday, October 5 afternoon.

Although Mohammedan Sporting coach Raghunath Nandi is looking to use this tournament as a platform to try out some new players before the forthcoming 2018/19 Second Division League, the veteran tactician firmly set his sights on winning the title.

“Here at Mohammedan Sporting Club our aim is to win every tournament where we participate but we also need to remind this is almost a new squad. We have brought some new players and still need to assess them. However, like always my team is going for the win tomorrow,” he said.

Black Panthers would open their campaign in the 70th All India Independence Cup against Karbi Anglong Morning Star Club on Saturday, October at the Nurul Amin Stadium at 4:30pm.
