Mohun Bagan extend contracts of Shilton Paul & Kim Kima!

Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan have extended the contracts of goalkeeper Shilton Paul and defender Lalchhawnkima for the 2019/20 season.

31 year old Maslandapur-born Shilton Paul will go into his 14th season with the Mariners whom he had joined from the Tata Football Academy in 2006.

Except loan spells with Chennaiyin FC (2014), Kerala Blasters FC (2015) and Atletico de Kolkata (2016) during the first three seasons of the Indian Super League, Shilton has been only a Mohun Bagan in the I-League, Calcutta Football League and other tournaments.

The former India junior international has been captain of Mohun Bagan for a few seasons like the last, but going into the coming season, Shilton will face competition from Debjit Majumder, Shankar Roy and Dibyendu Sarkar for the number one position.

28 year old Mizoram-born Lalchhawnkima, known in short as Kim Kima, played locally in the Mizoram Premier League before moving to Royal Wahingdoh FC in Shillong.

Thereafter Kim Kima has been a journeyman with spells for Atletico de Kolkata, Aizawl FC, Delhi Dynamos FC, Mumbai FC, Mumbai City FC and again Aizawl FC (on loan).

Last season Kim Kima joined Mohun Bagan and was part of their Calcutta Football League winning squad and also made some appearances for them in the I-League.
