Jose Ramirez Barreto belongs to a category that will always be special to Mohun Bagan AC fans. It has been more than seven years since he last put on the Green and Maroon colours. But even now he does not want to miss any opportunity to be associated with Mohun Bagan. He expressed his desire to join Mohun Bagan coaching staff and learn as an intern under head coach Kibu Vicuna.
Mohun Bagan management discussed the same with head coach Kibu Vicuna who agreed to this proposal. The top management said, “Barreto is part of Mohun Bagan family and we help him to grow under the guidance of Kibu Vicuna. We wish him a fruitful session as intern at Mohun Bagan before he rejoins Reliance Academy in Mumbai.”
Brazilian Jose Ramirez Barreto will have a short stint in the current role, starting Monday, November 4 at Mohun Bagan before he starts his journey for his AFC A Coaching licence.
Barreto thanked the Mohun Bagan management and head coach Kibu Vicuna on giving him this opportunity and he is hopeful to learn a lot which will help him in the longer run!
