Electric Veng FC failed to get back to their winning ways after tasting defeat in the last round with a 1-1 draw against Ramhlun North FC.
The high flying top-flight debutants had taken the lead on Friday evening through Vanlalremsanga on the 27th minute.
They were the better team in the first half as they managed to create chances to further their lead.
Their levels waned in the second half though, as Ramhlun North FC fought back in the game. And their effort was rewarded when Lalnunmawia struck from the edge of the box in the 62nd minute to level the scores.
Both teams went in search for the winner late on but were able to cancel each other out to share a point.
