Mumbai City FC sign Tunesian striker Amine Chermiti!

Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC have announced the signing of Tunesian striker Amine Chermiti for the 2019/20 season.

31 year old Sfax-born Mohamed Amine Chermiti started his youth career with JS Kairouan, where he also made his senior debut.

He then joined Étoile Sahel, where he was top scorer of the CAF Champions League and earned himself a transfer to Bundesliga side Hertha BSC. But he didn’t succeed there and was loaned out to Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia.

Leaving Germany, Chermiti moved to the Swiss Super League side FC Zürich, where he spend five successful seasons.

Thereafter he played for French side Gazélec Ajaccio, Al Arabi of Kuwait, ES Sahel back home in Tunisia and Saudi Arabian side Al-Fayha before now moving to Mumbai City FC, where the expectations would be high of the former Tunisian international.
