Mumbai City FC sign two year contract with talented striker Alen Deory!

Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC have announced the signing of talented striker Alen Deory on a two year contract from Shillong Lajong FC.

22 year old Guwahati-born Alen Deory was spotted by the SAI – Guwahati and from there moved to the famed Tata Football Academy in 2011, but after only three months at TFA he moved on a scholarship the IMG Academy in Florida, where he spend close to two years.

After his return to India in 2014, Alen Deory joined the AIFF Elite Academy and spend a season there before moving back to the NorthEast to the Academy of Shillong Lajong FC.

He spend time on loan with NorthEast United FC in 2014 and 2015 to make his professional debut in the ISL before becoming a professional player at Shillong Lajong FC. After a good last campaign with Lajong FC, he now moves to Mumbai City FC for a new challenge.

Alen Deory has played one game for the India senior national team and will be part of the developmental India team going to Bangladesh for the 2018 SAFF Cup.
