Mumbai FC release Brazilian duo Anderson & Alex Willian ahead of two final I-League matches!

Relegated Mumbai FC have released their Brazilian duo of Anderson Raimundo and Alex Willian ahead of their final two I-League matches against Shillong Lajong FC and East Bengal Club at home.

After a dismal season which had started off with a bang and two wins over DSK Shivajians FC and Churchill Brothers, Mumbai FC have been without a win in 14 matches and even the change of coaches from Santosh Kashyap to Oscar Bruzon didn’t change anything with the club having drawn their last five home matches goalless, which does explain one of the teams many problems this season.

Anderson Raimundo da Silva and Alex Willian Silva had been signed after a few rounds into the I-League season, but the Brazilians could not make the wanted and need impact.

Anderson had announced his departure on his own Instagram account!
