I-League side NEROCA (North Eastern Re-Organising Cultural Association) FC have announced the signing of goalkeeper Soram Poirei ahead of the 2022/23 season.
29 year old Imphal-born Soram Poirei Anganba played locally before joining the Tata Football Academy but soon moved to the IFA Academy in Bengal. He moved on to the Pune FC Academy and was part of their senior team later on.
In 2011, Soram Poirei joined promoted I-League side Shillong Lajong FC and made his senior debut before moving to the Indian Arrows a year later. He spend time on loan with newcomers Bengaluru FC.
Thereafter he played for Aizawl FC, Delhi Dynamos, DSK Shivajians FC, Mohun Bagan, ATK (on loan), Bengaluru FC and Soram Poirei Anganba then played for NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League before returning to Manipur to play for TRAU FC.
