I-League side NEROCA (North Eastern Re-Organising Cultural Association) FC have announced the signing of Sierra Leone defender David Simbo ahead of the 2022/23 season.

32 year old David Simbo, born in Sierra Leone capital Freetown, played in his youth for Mighty Blackpool, where he also made his senior debut.

Thereafter he became a journeyman, who played in Norway for Raufoss IF and Sogndal Fotball before returning to home club Mighty Blackpool. He then played in Sweden for Motala AIF (loan), Trelleborg FF (loan), Boden BK, and Sandviken IF.
