On May 20, FC Schalke 04 will be playing in their new adidas jerseys away to FC Ingolstadt in their final 2016/17 Bundesliga game of the season. Outfitters adidas and the Royal Blues presented today the new outfit for the coming season 2017/2018.
Fans of the “squires” will recognise in the jersey a tribute to the legendary Schalke 04 jerseys from the seasons 1992/93 and 1993/94. The iconic nineties optics have been transformed into a contemporary design and hit the nerve of today’s generation. A jersey that brings the Schalke spirit from the stadium to the streets of Germany’s Ruhr area (Ruhrgebiet).
The blue stripes on the sleeve express the Schalke 04 identity. Likewise, the fans’ declaration of love printed in the neck area to the club: “S04 – We live you.” The jersey is combined with blue pants and white socks with blue stripes.
