India Under-16 boys head coach Nicolai Adam announced his 21-players squad who will fight for the glory in the forthcoming AFC Under-16 Championship to be played in Goa. India will start their campaign on Thursday, September 15 against the United Arab Emirates at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao.
India are pitted against the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Saudi Arabia in a tough Group A. Defending champions North Korea are clubbed with Uzbekistan, Thailand and Yemen in the Group D; while Group B would have Australia, Japan, Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan; and then finally South Korea, Malaysia, Oman and Iraq in Group C.
