Nikhil Poojary joins Bengaluru FC from Hyderabad FC!

Bengaluru FC have strengthened their defence with the signing of experienced right-back Nikhil Poojary from Hyderabad FC on a four and a half year contract until summer 2028.

Nikhil Poojary was available in the transfer market due to the financial woes of Hyderabad FC and after clearance by the AIFF player status committee, Nikhil could move to Bengaluru FC on a free transfer.

28 year old Nikhil Chandra Shekhar Poojary, who is born in Mangaluru, in his youth played locally before playing for Ryan FC, Dodsal FC, and Mumbai FC.

Nikhil Poojary then spend two years at East Bengal before joining ISL side FC Pune City. He moved with the franchise to the new team Hyderabad FC and spend the last four and a half year with them.

Now Nikhil Poojary moves to Bengaluru FC on a long-term contract.
