Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of quartett Britto PM, Imran Khan, Sanjiban Ghosh, and Nabin Rabha ahead of the 2020/21 season.
27 year old Britto PM was born in Pozhiyoor (Thiruvananthapuram district), who has been a late bloomer after having played for Viva Kerala U-19s and Pune FC U-19s. At senior level Britto played for Quartz SC and Eagles FC in Kerala before joining the Indian Navy in 2014, where he impressed for the Services team in the Santosh Trophy which earned him a move to Churchill Brothers in 2017 before moving to Mohun Bagan a season later. Now after two years with the Mariners, Britto now moves to the ISL.
26 year old Manipur-born Imran Khan made his breakthrough with Mohammedan Sporting before going on to play for NEROCA FC and Fateh Hyderabad AFC. He then signed for FC Goa, but only played for their reserves before playing on loan with Gokulam Kerala FC and Mohun Bagan before returning to NEROCA in January 2020.
29 year old Andul-born Sanjiban Ghosh played in West Bengal before joining Southern Samity in the Calcutta Football League. After a season, Sanjiban joined Mumbai FC and spend five seasons with them with two loan spells with Delhi Dynamos. In 2017, Sanjiban signed for Jamshedpur FC before moving on to Chennaiyin FC, where he spend the two seasons.
23 year old Meghalaya-born Nabin Rabha played for Kamrupa Football Coaching Centre and SAI Guwahati Centre at youth level. Nabin made his senior breakthrough at Fateh Hyderabad AFC before playing for Shillong Lajong FC over the last couple of seasons.
