NorthEast United FC sign Austrian playmaker Marco Sahanek!

Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of Austrian playmaker Marco Sahanek for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

31 year old Vienna-born Marco Sahanek started his youth career with Austria Wien before playing for FC Stadlau and Admira Wacker Mödling.

At senior level, Marco Sahanek played for ASK Schwadorf, Admira Wacker Mödling (twice), Wolfsberger AC, SV Kapfenberg, Austria Klagenfurt (twice), SV Horn (twice), FC Wacker Innsbruck, and Floridsdorfer AC (twice) before moving to Maltese side Hibernians FC.

Thereafter he returned to Austria before having another spell with Hibernians FC. His next move took him to Thai side Nakhon Ratchasima before now moving to the ISL by joining NorthEast United FC.
