On the occasion of National Children’s Day, Odisha FC along with its players and coaches from the Special Olympics Bharat – Odisha Chapter organized a donation drive for the specially-abled children of the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
As a part of the drive, the children were taught the fundamentals of the game and were given gifts which included a pair of football boots and a bespoke fan jersey.
Odisha FC president Raj Athwal besides midfielders Raynier Fernandes and Pedro Martin from the men’s team, N. Sweety Devi and Satyabati Khadia from the women’s team delivered a note and interacted with the children.
