Odisha FC kicked off its U-13s project with the ‘Junior Juggernauts Thunder Camp’, on the Sunday, June 26.
The Thunder Camp was a weekend affair to introduce the game to children in their early years, and for a slightly older lot, the opportunity to play some Sunday evening football under the watchful supervision of our Youth Coaches.
The Camp was a successful kickstart to the club’s youth activities for the coming season and saw the participation of 50+ children in the U-13 category. Accompanied by their parents on a golden Sunday afternoon, the children immersed themselves in footballing activities specially designed by our coaches in specific age-wise breakups.
The Camp was held at the Capital Ground in Unit 3, Bhubaneswar. Our immense gratitude to the Department of Sports, Odisha, and Hon. Secretary of Sports & Youth Affairs, Shri Vineel Krishna for his guidance and support towards our initiatives.
The OFC Jr. Juggernauts: Thunder Camp was just the start of the Club’s Grassroots & Community outreach program.
