Odisha FC poised to create ISL history at the Kalinga!

Odisha FC is all set to host Jamshedpur FC in their final ISL league stage game at the Kalinga. Josep Gombau’s men will look to create history for the club by securing their spot in the ISL playoffs.

After convinving victories against Hyderabad FC and NorthEast United FC, Odisha FC come into this game brimming with confidence and momentum on their side. Josep and his team will leave no stones unturned to secure all three points and finish the league stage on a positive note.

Odisha FC and Jamshedpur FC conducted their pre-match presser earlier today in Bhubaneswar at the Kalinga Stadium. Josep Gombau and Lalthuammawia Ralte faced the media followed by Jamshedpur FC’s Head Coach Aidy Boothroyd and player Jitendra Singh.

Jamshedpur FC, currently sitting at the second last spot in the table with just four wins in 19 matches, will be looking to put up a good fight to finish off their ISL campaign. They have struggled to find their rhythm this season. Jamshedpur FC head coach Aidy Boothroyd will be hoping that his team can produce a strong performance against Odisha FC.

Odisha FC, currently at sixth position with 30 points from 19 matches, will be looking to climb up the table and qualify for the playoffs with a win against Jamshedpur FC. They have shown their potential this season, and are considered to be dark horses. Their head coach Josep Gombau will be looking to address his players to go for the win and ensure that his team puts in a solid performance.

The last time both sides met Odisha FC completed their first comeback of the season from being 2-0 down in the first half and going on to win the game 3-2 in the second period.
