Odisha kicked off their Sub-Junior National Football Championship for Boys (East Zone) qualifying campaign on a winning note with a 5-0 win against Jharkhand on Wednesday, August 30. The East Zone qualifiers are being held in Chinsurah, West Bengal.
Odisha registered a convincing 5-0 win against a depleted Jharkhand who have come to the tournament with a 14 player squad. The goal scorers for Odisha were Jagadish Oram (6th & 57th), Jadunath Hansdah (36th & 90th) and Sanjay Bate (42nd).
