The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) in association with the Sports & Y.S. Department of the Government of Odisha is going to conduct the FAO Inter-Club Futsal Championship from September 28 onwards onwards with the opening ceremony is going to be held at 1pm and the Final round will be played on October 1.
The competition would kick-off on September 28 at 10am at the KIIT Indoor Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
The Chief Guest for the opening ceremony is going to be Sailendra Jena, Joint Secretary Sports & Y.S. Department of the Government of Odisha and Dr. Ganagendu Das Director of Sports KIIT & KISS as the Guest of Honour.
As Futsal is new to the State of Odisha, Durga Madhab Naik as the Head of Referees Football Association of Odisha conducted an introductory meeting for all the participating clubs to provide valid information regarding the Futsal Game, it also may be intimated to you that the FAO Futsal Inter-Club Championship will be played abiding the AIFF Futsal Laws.
The participating 12 clubs have been divided into three groups of four teams each with the top team of each group reaching the Final 3 round robin league.

Group A: Mangala Club; KIIT University; Kalinga Nagar Sports Academy, Jajpur; Bichakundi Club, Keonjhar
Group B: Bidanasi Club; Kishore Club; Odisha Sports Hostel; Rajkanika Athletic Association, Kendrapada
Group C: Rising Student Club; Unit-6 Athletic Association; Sri Nilachakra Sports Club, Puri; Ramdhenu Club, Sonepur
