The Parma Calcio 1913 strip will be made from a special new highly technical fabric studied by Erreà Sport to offer protection from germs and bacteria.
The result of the experience gained by Erreà in the use of nanotechnologies since 2008 and perfected during the Covid-19 emergency, the new Ti-energy fabric boasts significantly advanced features and functions, thanks to the use of two different technologies that involve the presence of zinc oxide nanoparticles (permanently encapsulated in the fibres) to obtain antibacterial capacity, and the Minusnine J1+ treatment to guarantee impermeability to liquids.
These two characteristics allow the fabric to build an effective protective barrier against droplets, liquids, micro-organisms, irritations caused by chaffing and the formation of body odour.
Ti-energy has a fundamental water-repellent property that prevents the penetration of all kinds of liquid that may come in contact with the fabric, thus ensuring it remains dry. Liquids slide off the fabric in the form of beads that carry all types of impurities away with them.
The new Ti-energy fabric, like all Erreà clothing, has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification and requires eco-friendly maintenance, with low-temperature washes and a minimum amount of detergent, so as to consume less energy and reduce environmental impact.
The kit made from the new fabric will be worn for the home match against Inter on Sunday, June 28.
Following on from the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, this extremely important development by Erreà for the current period gives a further boost to protection for athletes.
