Premier Futsal: Revised Schedule to accommodate Cafu’s arrival!

Premier FutsalAfter the success in Chennai of the first-leg of the inaugural Premier Futsal league, the bandwagon shifted today across to Goa for the second-leg and the knockouts to be played over the coming days with the big final on Sunday, July 24.

But the Premier Futsal earlier today announced that Brazilian legend Ronaldinho after his five goal blitz yesterday for Goa 5s against Bengaluru 5s has to head home as he has been chosen as the ambassador of the 2016 Paralympics in Brazil and has to take up the assignment immediate ahead of the Paralympics.

But Ronaldinho will be replaced by none other than 1994 FIFA World Cup winning Brazil captain Cafu. But due to this short notice change of personnel in the Goa 5s team, Goa’s match tomorrow, July 19 against Kolkata has been pushed back by a day and in tomorrow’s encounter Kolkata would now be facing Bengaluru to give Cafu enough time to fly into Goa.
