Premier League promotion chasing Wolverhampton Wanderers looking to bring back ATK’s Robbie Keane!

English Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to push their Premier League promotion campaign by making some strategic signings over the winter transfer window and one of the players they are considering to target is ATK captain and striker Robbie Keane.

37 year old former Ireland captain Robbie Keane currently plays for the defending Indian Super League champions ATK, where he has overcome an injury and has scored two goals in four matches, one of those last night against FC Goa, besides being a very influential figure for manager Teddy Sheringham in the Kolkata dressing room.

Interestingly Robbie Keane has a Wolverhampton Wanderers background as he had joined their youth set-up before making his professional debut as a 17 year old about 20 years ago.

At the moment it is not clear if Robbie Keane is interested to leave ATK and return to England, but as per English media reports there is massive interest by promotion chasing Wolverhampton Wanderers.
