Promoted Indian Super League side Punjab FC have announced the contract extenstion of Slovenian striker Luka Majcen for the 2023/24 season.
34 year old Luka Majcen in his youth played for local side NK IB 1975 Ljubljana, where he would go on to make his senior debut. He spend time on loan with NK Ivancna Livar before playing for Rudar Velenje, FC Koper, NK Triglav Kranj (twice), ND Gorica, and NK Krka.
Before the 2020/21 I-Ieague, Luka Majcen left his native Slovenia for the first-time to join Churchill Brothers. He impressed for the Red Machines, has a spell for FC Bengaluru United in the I-League qualifiers and Bangalore Super Division before helping Gokulam Kerala FC defend their I-League title.
Last season, Luka Majcen joined RoundGlass Punjab FC and helped the club not only become I-League champions but also gain promotion to the Indian Super League.
Now Luka Majcen will aim to prove himself at the ISL level.
