The All India Football Federation in association with the Punjab Football Association is and will be conducting four Grassroots Courses in four different districts of Punjab, exclusive only for Women under the FIFA Live Your Goals campaign to extend the horizons of Women’s Football in India.
The first Grassroots Course commenced in Jalandhar district from November 22 to 24, 2016 in a bid to increase the number of Women Grassroots Instructors. 29 members participated in the Course which was conducted by AIFF Grassroots Instructor Hardeep Saini. The participants organized a Grassroots Festival on November 24 and designed various Footballing grids for young kids to indulge in.
The second Grassroots Course kicked-off on November 26 and concluded earlier today, November 28 in the Hoshiarpur district.
The districts of Ludhiana and Jalandhar will conduct the remaining two Grassroots Course on December 9-11 and December 25-27, 2016 respectively.
