2016-soccerex-asian-forumSports management and business technology experts, Analyticom, will speak alongside the Qatar Football Association (QFA) at the upcoming Soccerex Asian Forum, December 5/6, to discuss how their football management system, COMET, supports the operations of both the QFA and Qatar Stars League (QSL).

This exclusive session will focus on both the organisational and strategic benefits of the COMET system, alongside how the QFA use the system to increase efficiency in different sectors, including registration, competitions, refereeing, discipline and administration. The robust system enables effective real time collaboration of clubs, match officials and other stakeholders in Qatari football.

Analyticom Managing Director, Ivica Pavic, will speak on behalf of the technology firm about the COMET system, sharing his insight from numerous successful implementation projects that Analyticom has successfully carried out over the last decade. With sports federations and associations spanning 25 different countries and four continents all having implemented the football management system in recent years, Analyticom’s client base has grown substantially alongside the development and improvement of each generation of the service.

Demetris Zenetos, Head of Strategic Planning and Corporate Systems, will be representing the QFA during the session, as the Project Manager for the COMET system implementation and how the federation had benefited from its operational features. With over 25 years of operational and delivery experience under his belt, Demetris has been involved in numerous projects around the globe and can offer great insight into how the COMET system benefits compare to similar system implementations on the market.

With representatives from both the manufacturer and consumer of the product, the session will provide a balanced and insightful look into how much of a benefit the service is for a sports governing body. Demetris and Ivica will both share their views on the operational system and explain how other organizations can learn from the success the QFA has had with the use of this specific product.

Hosted with the support of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy and the Aspire Zone Foundation, the Forum will feature expert insights from the top of the football industry alongside high-level networking opportunities for delegates, giving them a chance to connect and mix with some of the key decision makers in the business.
