The Qatar Football Association have replaced Carlos Queiroz with Marques Lopez as the Qatar national team head coach.
The Qatar Football Association had earlier announced that Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz’s tenure as head coach of the Qatar national team has ended by mutual agreement between the two parties without giving any reasons for the decision.
And later on the GFA announced that Spanish coach Marques Lopez will take over as the Qatar national team’s head coach.
The coach will be in charge of the Qatar national team at the upcoming 2023 AFC Asian Cup, which will be hosted in Qatar in January next year.
The Qatar Football Association expresses gratitude and appreciation to Al Wakrah Sports Club for their cooperation and consent in facilitating Coach Marquez Lopez’s appointment as the national team head coach for the upcoming period.
